NITO NES⁵

The NES⁵ is an electric scooter from electric scooter startup NITO from Turin, Italy. The company was founded in 2015 by César Mendoza, a former director of the IED (Istituto Europeo di Design), a University for European design studies, with support from several international companies and the University Polytechnic.

In 1920 the Italian city Turin was a capital for the production of scooters and motorcycles with over 120 brands. In 1950 there were just 12 brands remaining and in 1970 the last two brands relocated. In 2015 the silence was broken and the brand NITO (Nuova Industria Torinese) was founded. The company's vision is "Creating Wonders".

The NES scooter is available in two variants: NES⁵ (moped) and NES¹⁰ (licht motorcycle). The scooter has won many prestigious design awards, including the German Design Award 2019.

The scooter has a powerful 4,000 واٹ electric motor that provides a restricted top speed of 45 کلومیٹر فی گھنٹہ. The motor provides fast acceleration.

The scooter has an easy to swap lithium battery that provides a driving range of 90 کلومیٹر. The battery is located in a locked compartment beneath the foot deck and can be removed easily. By using multiple batteries, the scooter can operate 24/7.

By default, the scooter is provided with all terrain tires that enables the scooter to drive both on and off road. The scooter is strong and durable but also lightweight, making the scooter very pleasant to drive. The scooter is 40 کلوگرام lighter than a modern Vespa.

The scooter has front and rear disk brakes and provides comfortable seating space for two persons.

The scooter is a true smart scooter that connects with a smart phone for access to scooter applications for features such as navigation and a map of charging locations.

The scooter is standard equipped with an anti-theft system.

The NITO NES can be personalized with 72 color combinations. The online configurator provides a broad palet of colors, saddle options, foot-plate wood options and even tire color options.

NITO provides several beautiful accessories such as a matching helmet, wind shields in many colors, a navigation system and a helmet compartment.
